This informative and extremely useful presentation covers a wide range of comprehensive first aid methods utilizing essential oils that deliver
safe and effective first-line action for a variety of issues. Learn the effective way to approach situations from abrasions, cuts and scrapes and wounds, sprains and strains to bruising, heat stroke and rashes, insect bites, nosebleeds and toothaches to earaches, headaches, indigestion and travel sickness. In addition to aromatherapy applications, Valerie will present interrelated material on Hydrotherapy (using water temperature to heal), Flower Essences, Homeopathy, and several Herbal helpers, including seaweed. She will share information about 10 or more essential oils, 8 herbs, and 8 homeopathic remedies you will want to include in your first aid supply kit. Medical emergency guidelines, supportive preventive actions, supplementary items useful in the rescue kit, insect repellants, and a pain relief primer will be presented as well. Recipes will be given for a heavy duty ointment, all-purpose antiseptic salve and several specific treatment blends. If time allows, a brief discussion on the psycho-emotional responses related to acute emergency events will be discussed.
