The claims surrounding essential oil therapies spans the gamut of outlandish cures to being dangerously toxic. Though most aromatherapists know that the truth lies somewhere in the middle, this webinar will address some of the ongoing controversies surrounds subjects such as neat use, oral options, dilution, skin sensitivity and more, allowing both professional practitioners and simple family-users a more confident, effective and safe path to best practices and successful outcomes.

About the Presenter:

Mindy RH (AHG), RA is an herbalist, esthetician, and aromatherapist, and has written extensively on medical botany and natural lifestyles. With decades of experience in the natural products industry, she is a well-known educator, author, past director of education for the Herb Research Foundation and clinical aromatherapist for the Aveda Corporation. She is a current advisory board member of the American Botanical Council (publishers of HerbalGram Magazine), and brings a wealth of experience and industry insight to the board of the American College of Healthcare Sciences.

An author of 3 books and over 60 articles, Mindy believes learning never ends and plants are our teachers. Mindy is a founder and professional member of the American Herbalists Guild [RH (AHG)] and a Registered Aromatherapist (RA) with advanced training in essential oils from Purdue University.
