Annette is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist & Aromatherapist with over 25 years of Aromatherapy experience. She began her Aromatherapy career as the Secretary of the first American Aromatherapy Association (AATA) founded in 1987.
Annette has studied under Dr. Jean Claude Lapraz since 1989. Dr. Lapraz is a practicing French Medical Doctor, world-renowned pioneer in the field of clinical phyto-aromatherapy, and the co-innovator of Endobiogeny. Annette teaches and practices phyto-aromatherapy and Endobiogeny at the Endobiogenic Integrative Medical Center (EIMC) located in Pocatello, ID. This innovative medical concept, based on a refined view of the neuro-endocrine system, integrates classical medicine with herbs and supplements, essential oils, dietary and lifestyle modifications to create a truly holistic treatment approach to illnesses of the body and mind.
Annette is also the customer relations manager for Time Laboratories, a longtime, well-respected natural products manufacturer founded by her Grandmother, Annemarie Buhler in 1973.

Jade holds a Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy, Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, and Reflexology from the Raworth College of Natural Medicine in Dorking, UK, and a Diploma in Aromatherapy from the International Therapist Examining board (ITEC). She has studied with Jan Kusmirek of Fragrant Studies and has completed Part One of the Purdue University Advanced Studies of Essential Oils. She has also completed a certificate program for Herbal Medicine with Master Herbalist, Erin Groh and a certificate program for Spa Bodywork with Anne Williams. Jade has been practicing and studying forms of natural healing for over two decades, and was one of the vanguard of professionals who helped introduce aromatherapy to the US. She has been an aromatherapy educator for over 22 years, opening her first aromatherapy school, The Institute for Dynamic Aromatherapy (IDA), in the New England area in 1990. In 2003, the IDA changed its name to: The School for Aromatic Studies in order to acknowledge the growing interest in both herbal and aromatic remedies and our love for the healing philosophies of the east and the west.
Between 2000 and 2003 and again in 2013 - 2014, Jade Shutes served as president of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy.
Vice President: Jennifer Hochell Pressimone, CNHC
Jennifer Hochell Pressimone is a holistic aromatherapist, herbalist, educator, author and owner of JennScents, Inc., a custom blending aromatherapy bar in Clermont, Florida. She has blended, formulated and created essential oil products for therapeutic use since 1999.
Jennifer offers a variety of aromatherapy and natural health courses for all levels and provides continuing education credits to Florida Massage Therapists. Jennifer specializes in therapeutic aromatherapy for health concerns, skin care, women and children’s health, animal care and natural cleaning. She creates custom blends to meet the needs of her customers as well as offers educational workshops to teach others how to safely incorporate natural health options into their daily lives. Jennifer has been a professional donor member of NAHA since 2004, a Director since 2005 and Public Relations Coordinator since 2010. Jennifer is dedicated to bringing more awareness to the use and benefits of true aromatherapy. Through her books, educational classes and research, she hopes to make significant contributions to the world of aromatherapy and help others help themselves. Kelly Holland Azzaro, RA, CCAP, CBFP, LMT, is a Registered Aromatherapist, Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner, Certified Bach Flower Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, Past Vice President (NAHA), Past President of NAHA and current Public Relations of NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy). Kelly continues to volunteer as part of the NAHA Journal Committee and NAHA Safety Committee, and as the NAHA Director for North Carolina.
Kelly has over 20 years professional experience and educational training in Aromatherapy and Massage Therapy. She also has specialized training in Canine and Equine Acupressure-Massage Therapies, Intuitive Animal Communication, Crystal-Gemstone Therapy, Reiki, Aromatherapy and Flower Essence Therapy for people and their animal friends. Kelly has also created ‘Ashi Aromatics Inc.’, an all natural botanical product line for both people and pets, and is approved by PETA as Cruelty-free Vegan.
Kelly is approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider, and her Animal Aromatherapy Practitioner Certification Course meets the NAHA Standards of Education requirements. She offers educational programs in Aromatherapy, Flower Essences and Massage and Energy-work Therapies.
Kelly is the Founder and Director of The Holistic Animal Association Network. The Holistic Animal Association is dedicated to empowering others through education and promotion for the holistic and natural healing therapies for our animal friends.
Kelly, and her husband Marco a Licensed Acupuncturist and Qigong Practitioner/Instructor have a Holistic Healing Center where they work together as a team to educate and empower others through holistic services, education and support.
Secretary: Rose Chard
Since 2008, Rose Chard, the owner of Your Body Needs...a massage and aromatherapy studio has been providing products and services in Crofton, Maryland and online at www.YourBodyNeeds.com. Your Body Needs sells 100% pure essential oils, carrier oils and aromatherapy accessories. Rose hand blends her own line of body products to add to her companies list of retail offerings. She has developed relationships with distillers and educators in the field. This experience allows her to provide quality products and be well-informed for her customers and client base. Rose is an educator providing classes at her business, local colleges and hospitals. Rose is an adjunct staff member at Anne Arundel Community College teaching the principles of Aromatherapy to other health care professionals. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Professional Member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy and the Aromatherapy Registration Council.
Treasurer: Eric Davis
Eric holds a Business Administration: Emphasis in Accounting degree. He has studied clinical Phyto-Aromatherapy and Endobiogeny under Dr. Jean Claude Lapraz since 1991 and assisted Dr. Lapraz in the development of the Endobiogenics Medical Assistant (EMA) software. He is the Regional Manager for Time Laboratories and serves as the IT Chair for the American Society of Endobiogenic Medicine and Intregative Physiology (ASEMIP).
Director Coordinator: Anna Doxie
The Institute of Holistic Phyto-Aromatherapy, was founded by Anna Doxie. Anna is a Clinical Registered Aromatherapist, (RA), Natural Cosmetic Formulator and Holistic Health Practitioner. Anna’s introduction to holistic health practices came during her childhood. She grew up in a household where her mother chose methods such as Herbalism, and Traditional Chinese Medicine as the first line of defense, to keep their family healthy.
Anna’s was first introduced to essential oils and aromatherapy more than 18 years ago, during her massage therapy education. Impressed by experiencing aromatherapy’s immediate therapeutic effects. She began to use essential oils, to create simple blends to keep her family of six children healthy and well. She was no longer satisfied with basic knowledge about essential oils. She wanted to know, exactly how, and why these remedies worked so effectively.
Anna’s fascination and deep appreciation for essential oils quickly evolved into her passion. Inspiring her to take a professional aromatherapy certification course at Stillpoint Aromatics, in Sedona, Az. She continued to complete the Advanced Mastery Program (AMP). Then sat for the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) exam, becoming a Registered Aromatherapist. To expand her aromatic knowledge, clinical aromatherapy, in Provence, France, with Rhiannon Lewis, of Essential Oil Research. Anna is currently studying Aromatic Medicine with Mark Webb, from Australia and Gabriel Mojay from the UK, through the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine & Aromatherapy.
Anna serves as the Director of the Southern California Region, and Director Coordinator for NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy). Anna’s passion for sharing quality aromatherapy education, as well as the desire to create accessible and mentor-based aromatherapy education. This led to the founding of the Institute of Holistic Phyto-Aromatherapy.
